OUR TEAM
OWNER, ARTIST & TEACHER
CHLOE CONGLETON
Chloe has been running Enable Art for well over 13+ years and has loved every minute of it. Some days you will find her working in her classroom, prepping for a handful of different art classes, at home working on a commission, or brainstorming her next great and fun idea to share with her clients. No matter what she is doing she stays busy making sure no artistic rock is left unturned.
Right now, Chloe is staying busy teaching her summer art camps, evening art classes, private art parties, and teaching classes at Walla Walla Valley Academy. She plans on one day creating online art courses for artists of all ages. This way her art classes can become more readily available to people outside her immediate community.
Chloe also plans on opening up her own studio and gallery space in the Walla Walla Valley so she can continue teaching her art programs as well as helping other younger artists have a soft-landing space in the art world.
OWNER
TREVOR CONGLETON
Trevor and Chloe got married in 2015 in the Walla Walla Valley and they have been an unstoppable team ever since. When Chloe moved to Walla Walla she wasn’t sure she wanted to continue doing her business since she had lost all of the clients she had made in Spokane when she moved. But Trevor, being her biggest support, encouraged Chloe to keep doing what she loved to do while helping support her financially while she got Enable Art up and running in her new location. Trevor is a huge part of why Enable Art is even still going today! Even though Trevor has a wonderful, full time job of his own, you will still find him helping set up and take down at the evening paint nights. He routinely hauls anything and everything from the truck to the classroom, and most importantly, is someone Chloe can turn to with any odd job she might have.
Trevor brings a number of talents to Enable Art though his editing and proof reading which have become especially helpful in Enable Art’s marketing materials. Trevor would tell you, “I’m just the person that wipes the desks down and cleans the brushes,” but he does way more than he gives himself credit for and we love having his kind spirit a part of the Enable Art team.

STUDIO MANAGER & CUSTOMER SERVICE
TAMI CONGLETON
Tami Congleton has moved down from Battle Ground, Washington to Walla Walla, Washington to be closer to Chloe and Trevor while also helping out in the studio. Tami has worked at a high school for over 25+ years and loves working with kids. Tami does not only work front desk at Enable Art Studio, but also helps with inventory, classes, day to day tasks that need to be done, as well as assisting both Chloe and Kocus. Tami also came over to the Walla Walla area for almost three month to help completely remodel the new art studio. We couldn’t have done it without Tami’s help. She is the Mother-in-Law of the year!
OPENER & STUDIO ASSISTANT
KELSEY
Kelsey is an essential part of the Enable Art team, and we’re incredibly lucky to have her! She wears many hats around the studio: receptionist, classroom assistant, opener, cleaner, and go-to problem solver. If the studio looks spotless when you walk in, that’s thanks to Kelsey’s dedication and care. She’s the one who keeps everything looking beautiful and running smoothly behind the scenes.
Always one of the first to arrive, Kelsey opens the studio each day and ensures that everything is welcoming and ready for our artists. Her kindness, reliability, and calm energy help create the warm, creative atmosphere our community loves.
On top of all that, Kelsey is also a talented artist who loves making art and being part of a space that encourages others to explore their creativity.
We’re so thankful to have Kelsey on our team—she truly helps bring Enable Art to life every single day!
FUNDRAISER & MAINTENANCE
DOUG CONGLETON
Doug has helped and supported Enable Art from the moment he knew about it. He is a Jack-of-all-trades and knows how to fix just about anything. Most of his career was in fundraising for an orphanage over in Mexico and traveling to the orphanage to help the kids over there. He is extremely talented in many things and has a huge heart for other people.
With Tami, they came over and helped out for over 3 months with remodeling our new space. From demoing, patching holes, and spraying texture… to pressure washing and painting the outside of the building…. he was there through it all to help make our studio beautiful!
If he isn’t busy working around the studio, you can find him helping set up for classes at the studio. We are so lucky to have such a multitalented person making sure everything is running smoothly.
About
ENABLE ART
Our Story
At just eight years old, Chloe knew she wanted to be a professional artist. Encouraged by her parents, she found solace and focus in the world of art—a peaceful refuge for her wandering, ADHD mind. Art became her anchor during chaotic times, a way to connect with others, and a means to express herself. These early experiences laid the foundation for a lifelong journey fueled by creativity and community.
As a high school senior, Chloe took a bold step by launching her own art business, inspired by her deep connection to her Creator. She wanted a name that reflected this divine gift, and thus, “Enable Art” was born. Rooted in the belief that her ability to create was a blessing, the name encapsulated her desire to empower others through art. The verse, “And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me…”
(1 Timothy 1:12), became a guiding light for her mission.
Chloe’s journey was not without its challenges. While pursuing a business degree to help dismiss the myth of the "starving artist," she balanced her studies with a successful photography business in Spokane. However, her heart yearned for more than just capturing moments; it craved the act of creating. Moving to Walla Walla marked a turning point for her career. As she settled into her new home, opportunities unfolded—she became an art teacher at Walla Walla Valley Academy, where she could share her passion for art with students.
Initially focused on her own artwork, Chloe quickly realized the joy of teaching others. She started small, going door-to-door to invite kids to her first summer art camp. Although her first art camp only had six students, the experience ignited a passion for teaching and growing her business that would shape her career. As her classes grew in popularity, adults began to seek out their own opportunities for creativity, prompting Chloe to expand her offerings. From painting to watercolor to needle felting, her studio became a vibrant hub of artistic exploration.
In 2021, as demand surged, Chloe hired her first assistant, Amber, whose contributions significantly improved the business operations. Together, they doubled class sizes, and the need for more inventory and a larger space became evident. Chloe quickly realized that the school classroom was no longer adequate for their expanding community.
After years of dreaming, praying, and envisioning her own studio, Chloe took a bold step in 2023. She approached the building she had long believed would be hers—a space she had prayed over with her family since 2018. To her joy, the timing was ideal; the current tenant’s lease was ending. In July 2023, with keys in hand, Chloe, her husband, and her in-laws began a three-month renovation of the outdated space. Working tirelessly, day and night, on weekends and holidays, they remodel the 2,000+ square foot studio. Every wall painted and nail hammered symbolized the love, dedication, and the incredible support of her family and community.
In October 1, 2023, Chloe opened the doors to her first studio, a culmination of her dreams, faith, and perseverance. Each day in this space fills her heart with joy as she witnesses others embrace their creativity in the environment she carefully crafted.
Enable Art is more than just a business; it represents a commitment to “creating community through creativity.” With six new teachers and studio assistants, Chloe’s vision is expanding, and she is poised to grow this little company into a multi-million dollar enterprise. The journey has transformed from scribbled notes on scrap paper to a thriving brick-and-mortar studio, where art, connection, and inspiration flourish.
As Chloe continues to share her love for art, she invites everyone to join her in this beautiful adventure. Together, they can discover the power of creativity, build lasting relationships, and help one another thrive in a community that celebrates artistic expression.
Enable Art is not just a name; it’s a movement—one that enables dreams to take flight and creativity to flourish.
